Streamers You Should Watch While South Africa is in Lockdown
If you haven’t heard the news, which I’m probably sure you know, South Africa is on lockdown and it seems that streamers across the country are planning on taking full advantage of the opportunity they’ve been given!
If you are sitting at home and you don’t know what to do then here are a few fantastic South African streamers I think you absolutely need to check out! They will surely keep you entertained while you watch and would definitely love your support and company as they play through your favorite games during the lockdown.
I’ve been lucky enough to get to know a lot of these incredible streamers over the past few months and I know that you’ll love watching them as much as I have! So without further delay here is my list of streamers you should watch while we’re all in lockdown! Please take note this list is not by order as everyone has their own unique thing to offer!

Zakeroph:
The first time I joined one of Zak’s stream was when he attempted a speed run where he would try and complete the first 3 Mass Effect games. I was hooked, not only through the game but through his personality and how he played the games.
The short time I’ve to know Zak he has become a dear friend to me. He is genuinely funny and is always trying to bring out the better in others. His streams are unique and interesting because I don’t often see South African streamers playing the games he does. He has also dedicated all of March to Retro streams where he brings back some of our favorite classing PS1 games.
What to expect: Dead By Daylight, Alien: Isolation, a lot of board games

Phoenix Tears:
I met Phoenix through our Overwatch team as he is one of the coaches that help us practice on our way to glory! He gives me much-needed guidance to improve my skills. He is a really skilled Overwatch player as well as coaching the team Rage Quit Neon Retrobution as well as managing teams like SA Mini Overwatch World Cup and Rage Quit Odyssey. He has truly made a name for himself in the South African Overwatch community and we all wish the team the best of luck this year!
With his busy schedule, he still finds time to stream games, keep up his busy social life and have fun with games like Overwatch and Command and Conquer.

LordNemesis:
I first got to know Nemesis from our Overwatch team, he is kind and caring. Whenever I felt bad about how I was playing he would always try and keep my spirit high and we soon became friends. I often single him out on the battlefield and try to kill him but I have yet to master that one…
If you are looking for a streamer who is super nice and will sit 2 hours with you to show you how a game works then Nem is your guy. But don’t pick a fight with him because he will one-shot you faster than you can say headshot.
He streams game like Bioshock Infinite and Escape from Tarkov and can be a really mean Mei in Overwatch.

Awesome Dude:
Awesome Dude is the guy who saved the day and got the community together when a fellow gamer needed it the most. He is humble, caring and talking to him makes you just want to do better and more for others. Throughout his streams you can see that he is a caring individual, he is fun to watch so sit back, relax and watch one of South Africa’s nicest and friendliest streamers. His streams are easygoing and really fun to watch, I often watch him play when I have to write reviews :)
He dislikes horror games but suffered through a horror stream to help out a friend.

H4v0ch:
One of South Africa’s best Beat Saber players and VR gamer fanatic! I first learned of him through other streamers and spotted him being really active in other people’s streams. He is an active pillar to the South African gaming community through his support towards others.
There is no end to how skilled he is with VR games, his skills will leave viewers speechless as he climbs higher onto the scoreboard.
Please show him A LOT of love because he really does deserve it. He often plays Beat Saber, Pistol whip and now Half-life Alyx!

Haylstorm:
If you are looking for something different other than streaming video games well then Haylstorm is the girl for you. She not only possesses mad shooting skills but is also making a name for herself through her designs. She often shares them on stream and shows her viewers how exactly she does it.
She has made a name for herself when it comes to designing emotes for streamers and I often hear how happy people are with her lovely work and I look forward to using her skills in the future.

FluffyAxe:
The day I got to meet Fluffy for the first time was during an Overwatch stream that turned into pure laughter. She is incredible to listen to, especially with the energy she generates and it makes her streams really fun to watch! You will find yourself laughing, smiling and cheering for her to defeat each player she takes on.
If you are looking for a streamer that will keep the energy high and something that will really make you happy PLEASE go and watch FluffyAxe. She has also been part of my Overwatch girls game night from the very start and she has been a HUGE help.

I’ve been watching Grants streams probably from the start of my blogging career. He was a pretty big part of the reason I started liking Overwatch and definitely why I love Ash so much! Through his streams, I got to meet more people from the gaming community and make a few new friends.
He’s recently started playing Doom Eternal and he is a lot braver than I am because I would be unable to play Doom due to how gory it looks! He seems to be really focused and enjoying the game while making his viewers feel right at home.

There is honestly no reason why you should not have followed this sweetheart. Ruthy is a streamer that will definitely keep you entertained through her streams. Through her, I fell in love with the Witcher game series and although I have never played the game, I loved watching her pick the choices she did and waiting for the outcome.
I’ve said it before, Ruthy is like my morning coffee. Without her morning streams the day seems dull and slow. She somehow always seems to put a bright smile on my face when watching her steams.

One of the things I love about Rusty is the hard work he puts into his charity streams and it is really nice to see someone so dedicated and hardworking reach the goals they have set to help others. Rusty is, in his own words, an energetic ginger with a deep love for B.O.B. He often streams Overwatch, Stardew Valley and recently Doom Eternal.
